Chief Mobile offers redundant alerting through a combination of Tone Alerting and CAD Alerting. It enables users to efficiently receive and map incidents from their 911 dispatch center rapidly. By utilizing push notifications, users are promptly informed when a new dispatch occurs, directing them to the incident details and location on the map.

With Tone Alert functionality, Chief Mobile functions as a Fire Pager, ensuring dual alert sources for enhanced reliability. Additionally, users can receive messages from other personnel, receiving instant notifications regarding open shifts, training, and other key announcements. The latest update allows users to respond to messages directly.

Users can update their status (e.g., Responding Station 1, Available) using Chief Mobile, with their estimated time of arrival (ETA) tracked while en route. Organizations using Chief Scheduling can conveniently access the company schedule by day and manage their personal schedules within the application.

It is important to note that continuous use of GPS in the background may significantly impact battery life.
